A construction team designs and tests
the products from SKYLOTEC.

Right on the premises, products are
tested in an ongoing fashion.
From Germany Out Into the World
SKYLOTEC is in motion. We have high aims and our eyes on the future. At the same time, we stand on firm ground, are reliable, and act for the long term. Because we are this way, we have developed our products exclusively in Germany since 1948. A competent construction team develops and tests new harnesses, fall-arrest devices, and descenders under strict conditions. That we are not the largest is to our advantage. It permits us to act quickly and flexibly in the markets of this world.
Development, procurement, production, quality assurance, sales, training, and corporate administration are at home in Neuwied, Germany. Today, approximately 150 staff members are employed at two locations. Since 2006, we have been manufacturing in our Hungarian plant in Gyomaendröd as well. The entire manufacturing and quality assurance processes are performed according to the same procedures and the same certification as in Germany. From Neuwied, products from SKYLOTEC are delivered out to the entire world.
Renowned Partners. Everywhere.
A company cannot manufacture everything itself. Certain parts have to be purchased—from fabric and material suppliers. When choosing partners the premise is: Quality paired with environmentally-friendly production. Many of our textiles conform to the bluesign® standard. They guarantee the highest possible freedom from harmful substances and are produced in a resource-conserving manner. With partners such as W. L. Gore & Associates with the brand Gore-Tex® in the area of workwear, as well as with Schoeller Textil AG in the area of mountaineering clothing, this is possible. With hardware as well, SKYLOTEC relies on renowned and reliable suppliers and audits them on a regular basis.
SKYLOTEC's aim is clear: Further develop resources in the company; reach performance leadership in the world markets with growth dynamic and the power of innovation—in industry, during rescue operations, and in mountaineering.
